Of the utmost importance are issues surrounding confidentiality and the protection of all parties involved, especially the rights of the Seekers. hypios hopes to engage with each Seeker on a long-term relationship. Hence, hypios has gone to great lengths to ensure that both confidentiality and protection have been integrated into hypios.
This page provides an overview of a few security measures that hypios has taken to protect Seekers.
hypios' core confidentiality
offering ensures that:
1. No Seeker's name is ever displayed on hypios, alone or in conjunction with problems or solutions.
2. No Seeker's logo is ever displayed on hypios, or in conjunction with problems or solutions.
3. No Seeker's personal names or email addresses are made available through the problem submission or solution review process.
4. hypios integrates a "double-check" to ensure that no Seeker document has a name or logo.
Other aspects of protection
& confidentiality include:
1. All Seekers and Solvers are bound by non-disclosure agreements before having access to hypios.
2. Once the problem-solving process begins, all communication between a Seeker and a Solver is private and anonymous.
3. All solutions proposed to a problem are only visible to the Seeker that submitted the problem.
4. On a specific problem, Solvers do not see solutions proposed by other Solvers.
5. hypios checks that once a solution has been sold exclusively (i.e. exclusive copyright purchased by a Seeker), that exact solution is never used for another problem on hypios.
hypios reserves the right to ensure that all material remains within a professional context and that all users conform to hypios' due diligence policies.
